RTI and Learning Disability (LD) Identification

The National Center on Response To Intervention (NCRTI) is pleased to announce a new series of webinars that address how RTI relates to comprehensive evaluations and the identification of specific learning disabilities (SLD). Dr. Lou Danielson, senior advisor to the NCRTI, opens the series by discussing the federal regulations relevant to RTI and SLD determination, and addressing policy letters written by the Department of Education on the topics. Future webinars will be coming, which will cover determining students' responsiveness to interventions, and state and local perspectives on comprehensive evaluations and the identification of learning disabilities.
